Radio City Music Hall Pit

At the Radio City Music Hall, the section closest to the stage is called the Pit. It contains rows AAA, BBB, and CCC and can seat about 150 people. But, the Pit section is not available for all shows. For some events, it may be taken over by the musicians and be unavailable to guests. Still, it provides the closest view of the stage and has some of the best seats in the house.

Radio City Music Hall Orchestra

Just after the Pit section is the Orchestra section. The Orchestra seats take up the rest of the floor-level seating and are considered prime seats. The section is divided into 7 parts. The first 8-10 rows at the center of the Orchestra section have some of the best views and can be quite expensive. Some rows at the back of the Orchestra section, although centrally located, may have obstructed views due to the soundboard in certain shows.

Radio City Music Hall Mezzanine

The Radio City Music Hall Mezzanine section is divided into three levels — First, Second, and Third Mezzanine. They overhang the orchestra at row K. The First Mezzanine is just a little elevated from the Orchestra section. The center front portion has great views. The Second Mezzanine is slightly more elevated and offers a comprehensive view of the entire stage. But, for some shows like the Christmas Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes, the soundboard may be located on the Second Mezzanine and obstruct the view for the front rows. The Third Mezzanine level is the farthest but it gives a sweeping view of the entire auditorium and is an experience worth having.
