This was my first broadway show and to be honest I don't usually write reviews but this experience was just almost life changing for me. I've always loved theater and I of course grew up watching lion king as a kid. I expected a good show that portrayed the story of the movie. What I got was much much more. The music, ambiance, environment completely captivated me. From whimsical moments to dramatic and emotional moments it won my heart over and I'm not just being overly dramatic in that regards. The scenes were so artfully put together and executed, the singing was just masterful and kept me hoping it wouldn't end. I just can't wait to experience my next.

I was very impressed! I had only a few musical viewing experiences in my life, but I still found the quality to be top notch! I was especially very moved by the magic carpet flying through the air. Thank you for a wonderful experience. There was an audio commentary in Japanese available for rent, which I used, but I felt this was unnecessary for those who can hear English to some extent.
