    Based on Charles Dickens's novel of the same name, A Christmas Carol has been adapted for the theatre by Susan Lyons, Jefferson Mays, and Michael Arden. One of Broadway's most creative directors, Arden, who won the Tony Award for Best Revival for Once on this Island, also directs this evocative and hopeful theatrical masterpiece. With almost 50 characters played by Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays in a spectacular, masterful performance, the classic Christmas tale comes to amaze audiences on Broadway. Jefferson Mays has received numerous awards for his outstanding theatrical accomplishments, including the Tony Award, Helen Hayes Award, Lucille Lortel Award, two Drama Desk Awards, two Outer Critics Circle Awards, and three Obie Awards.

    Storyline

    Soak in the holiday spirit by enjoying Charles Dickens' beloved Christmas classic and get your A Christmas Carol Broadway tickets now. On a chilly Christmas Eve, Scrooge treats his workers poorly, refuses to donate to charity, and is unpleasant to his nephew when he receives his invitation to spend the holiday with him. At home, the ghost of Jacob Marley, his old business partner, asks him to embrace humanity and the spirit of giving. Ebenezer Scrooge then gets a visit from the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future, who try to show him the error of his ways. Will Scrooge reform his attitude, or is a Christmas miracle too much to ask?

    The Nederlander Theatre, formerly known as the National Theatre, Billy Rose Theatre, and Trafalgar Theatre, is a Broadway venue located at 208 West 41st Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It was created by William Neil Smith for theatre manager Walter C. Jordan and debuted in 1921. It is run by the Nederlander Organization and has approximately 1,235 seats on two floors.
