Storyline
In 1925 Kentucky, Floyd Collins dreams of turning the magnificent Sand Cave into a tourist attraction that will lift his family out of poverty. His exceptional talent for discovering underground wonders has earned him a reputation as the greatest caver ever known. But when he ventures 200 feet underground in search of a new passage, fate takes a cruel turn - a falling rock pins him in place, beginning a chaotic catastrophe that will grip the entire nation. As reporters and curiosity seekers descend on the small Kentucky town, Floyd's story unravels between thousands of eyes fixed on his every move while he struggles to survive under the pressure.
