All about a girl who turns her curse from a demon into a bloodthirsty chance for transformation, Teeth has been renewed after its extended run at the Playwrights Horizons. Based on the cult classic film of the same name, this is a dark comedy that will shock you. Delving deep into themes of revenge, ancient horrors granting wishes, and the banishment of sexual shame, Teeth is a love letter to the horror genre. A show backed by Tony (and Pulitzer!) winner Michael R. Jackson and Anna K. Jacobs (POP!) is sure to be spectacular. Quench your thirst for a story you can sink your teeth into.
Teeth is centered around evangelical teen Dawn O’Keefe. She’s abstinent and even part of a purity group, the Promise Keeper Girls. But Dawn’s hiding something. Her secret? When men try to violate her, she bites back. Literally. A curse from the demon Dentata, Teeth is a sexual demon on a rampage. Dawn’s whole family, her stepbrother and her pastor father, also go through their own discoveries, but the star of the show will leave you hungering for more.

Teeth is vicious and growling, a story of how sexual retribution and revenge can also be a biting musical comedy. Teeth follows Dawn, an evangelical Christian girl, her stepbrother and her pastor father. After a curse from Dentata, Dawn can now retaliate against people who are getting a little too hands-on. Without a single misstep except down the jaws of a demon, Teeth is an edgy and bloodthirsty dramedy.
