The Story

Water for Elephants takes you on a deeply touching journey of a young man who discovers an exciting new life, and love, after a traumatic experience. The protagonist, Jacob Jankowski, played by Grant Gustin, jumps on a moving train after he loses everything that he holds dear. With the train turning out to be a circus train, Jacob begins his wild new life with a circus group. The story moves back in time as an older Jacob narrates his youthful adventures, and how he discovered true love and created an exciting life.
