Radio City Music Hall is known to be the largest indoor theatre in the world. It has a seating capacity of 5,960, with seats in the Pit, Orchestra, and three elevated Mezzanine levels. The Art Deco-style music hall was designed by Edward Durell Stone and Donald Deskey. Legendary actors like Elizabeth Taylor, Gregory Peck, and Katharine Hepburn have had their films staged in the Hall. Nowadays, though, the Radio City Music Hall premiers only a select few films and is largely used for stage shows, concerts, and special events. Over the years, the Hall has staged performances by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, BB King, the Radio City Rockettes, Celine Dion, and others. It has also hosted the Grammys, the Tonys, the MTV Video Music Awards, and many such prestigious events.

We attended a show on Christmas Eve - it was our first Rockettes show and it was absolutely amazing! The Rockettes, the dancers, the costumes, sets, music, lights, and the iconic Radio City Music Hall venue. We loved it all. One of the best shows we've ever attended. Although the line-ups outside were insane they went quickly so don't be discouraged. We were also pleasantly surprised with the cost of merchandise as it was among the reasonable we've seen for this type of performance. I wish I had photos to share to show how magical it was but photos weren't allowed during the performance.
I come from France, and I absolutely loved seeing the Rockettes’ show during the Christmas season. It was incredible. I’m 20 years old, and it’s a show open to all audiences. It immediately puts you in the Christmas spirit, which made it even more magical especially for the Rockettes’ 100th anniversary. The lighting design, tailored to each scene of the show, was incredible. Combined with the costumes and the live orchestra, it truly draws you into the experience and makes the show even more magical than it already is.
The show remains the benchmark for festive New York. It's 90 minutes of concentrated magic without intermission, where high-tech sets (3D effects, ceiling projections) coexist with traditional stages. The wooden soldier number is the heart of the program, unchanged since 1933. Here's what makes it special: Alien precision: The dancers move not like people, but like clockwork machines. Their synchronicity is precise down to the millisecond, and their lines remain perfectly straight even during the most complex formations.
EVERYTHING WAS AAMAZING!! More than what I expected I smiled, I laughed The lights , the colors, the dancers, the orchestra all had my heart wow My favorite was when I thought what about Jesus and boom The animals the kings the star the manger,, stole my heart Was so ready to buy more tickets for my family , then realized it was last night Until next year Godwilling Thank you for an amazing memory!! Happy New Year!!
Fantastic show, came to see it on Christmas Day, absolutely magical experience, the lights, costumes, atmosphere and of course the amazing performances made this an experience not to be missed (and that will be repeated)! I came with people who aren't usually easily caught up in the moment but this even entranced them!
