Palladium Times Square sits in the bustling theater district of New York City, at the “Crossroads of the World” on the corner of 44th Street and Broadway Avenue. It opened originally as the Loews Astor Plaza movie theater in 1974 and ran for three decades before closing. The Anschutz Entertainment Group then converted it into a live event venue but the PlayStation Theater would also close in 2001. It finally reopened once more as the Palladium Times Square in 2020.
The Palladium has been a hub of entertainment since its reopening, staging a wider range of shows than many other venues on the block, though its focus is largely on musical events. Its upcoming roster includes performances from Sidiki Diabate, Kittie, Michael Blaustein, Sushant KC featuring The Bangers, and more. It also has shows like Inside Presents: Ghana To The World II and The Real Hip-Hop feat. Havoc from Mobb Deep/M.O.P. lined up.

The space opened as an indoor live events venue within the One Astor Plaza in 2005. It has been known by several names, including the PlayStation Theater, Best Buy Theater, and Nokia Theatre Times Square. It is sometimes confused with the Palladium, a 1927 venue that also hosted live musical events, but this space was demolished in the 90's. The Palladium Times Square continues to operate on Broadway, notably hosting larger musical concerts and shows.
