Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, now known as the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, debuted in 1910 at 205 West 46th Street. After being renamed in 1958 in honor of the well-known performing duo Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, the theater underwent extensive renovations. It has a spacious interior with 1,505 seats and an extravagant design with crimson and gold accents. The location has played host to legendary shows since its reopening, cementing its place in Broadway history.
