Storyline
In the Tyrol during wartime, Marie, adopted and raised by an army regiment, falls in love with a young soldier, Tonio. But when her aristocratic mother resurfaces and forces Marie toward high society, loyalties and love collide. The regiment intervenes, Marie faces a choice between duty and heart, and chaos ensues — will love triumph or rank pull her away from those who raised her?
