The Carousel actress gives a masterful performance under the direction of Tony Award winner Kenny Leon known for his work in A Soldier's Play. One of the greatest modern American playwrights, the venerable Adrienne Kennedy, makes her long-awaited Broadway debut with her chilling, thought-provoking drama at the age of 91. The playwright was awarded the Gold Medal for Drama, in 2022, becoming one of only five individuals in history to receive the honour from the Academy of Arts and Letters.
Storyline
The play follows the story of a successful writer who visits her alma mater in order to finally tell the truth about what transpired while she was a student there. A sinister mystery is revealed when author Suzanne Alexander gives a talk about the brutality in her books at her alma mater.
