About Aladdin on Broadway

The Broadway musical, Aladdin, was adapted from the 1992 animated Disney film of the same name, which was in turn based on a folktale from the centuries-old Arabic text, One Thousand and One Nights. Aladdin, a young street urchin, falls in love with a princess, Jasmine. But, a princess like her can only marry a prince. That is when Aladdin finds a wish-granting magic lamp and his life changes forever. Catch a show of Aladdin on Broadway and fly along for Aladdin’s marvelous, magical journey as he tries to win Jasmine’s heart and battle unforeseen obstacles. Along with music written especially for the stage, Aladdin on Broadway features five songs from the Academy Award-winning movie soundtrack.
