Storyline
The storyline of Wicked begins before and continues after Dorothy Gale departs from Kansas for Oz, and focuses on the witches of the Land of Oz. Another girl with emerald-green skin who is intelligent, fiery, misunderstood, and endowed with a rare talent appears long before Dorothy enters the scene. Her initial rivalry with a popular and cheerful blonde soon evolves into the most surprising of friendships... until society labels one as "good" and the other as "wicked."
