About Theatre

Originally named The Globe, inspired by Shakespeare's theatre in England, Lunt-Fontanne Theatre was then renamed. The current name is inspired by the popular couple Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne who started the theatre's first production, The Visit. It is accessible to all kinds of special needs guests including wheelchair seating, assistive listening, audio description, closed captioning, etc.
